Loft in New York - part 2

Part 2 of the New York loft project was developed in 4 weeks.
It aimed to explain the details of the following areas:
- Entrance/Stairs
- Living/Dining/Kitchen
- Dance room
- Massage room
- Master suite

with:
- a sketch
- a technical chart
- a furniture chart with material and color reminders

Programs used: Photoshop, AutoCAD, and a good pencil

Loft in New York - part 1

Loft in New York was the first major individual project carried out during semester 1 at Istituto Marangoni.
Programs used: Photoshop and AutoCAD

The client had to be a real person. In my case, my client was a dancer who was also a massage therapist.
This double activity determined my concept and the distribution of the areas within the plan

Concept: Body motion vs. Body balance

Inspirations: Italian spontaneity vs. French sophistication

 Location: Brooklyn

Colors: zen colors vs. flashy highlights

Materials: cold industrial vs. warm natural

This is the original plan that was given to us: a huge loft, shed type, full of windows.
Our professors expected us to create a 1st floor considering the height under the shed roof.

As a result, here is the distribution of the loft, according to my concept and, of course, client requests.
